I do this because I need to get down lots of pills each day
There are many choices of water, however which one should I drink? I’ve decided to use distilled water. These are my reasons. I must take many pills each day. When I say a lot, I mean over 40 capsules and pills each day. Obviously, that is a large number. I must take each and every one of them without throwing them up.
I developed osteoporosis and have been required to swallow calcium pills every day
Because of some of the medications I that needed to have, I now have other aliments. I have to get down more pills to counter these ailments. For example, I developed osteoporosis and have been required to get down calcium capsules each day. This resulted from the very high doses of Prednisone, because of my Crohn’s disease. So now I have to get down an extra couple of calcium osteoporosis supplements to reverse my calcium bone loss. This is one reason why I am required to take so many more pills than most people. As I swallow these pills, I am often distracted by the taste of the various chemicals in the water we get in our house.
Maybe it is unavoidable, but my town always has had water with a very high content of chlorine. I can taste it easily. Quality reports come with the water bill that say my town’s water gets supplemented with many chemicals. These chemicals worry me.
Of course, some chemicals would be there, because the water comes from natural places. But, some of the other stuff is shocking. The water district services a large population, and they must ensure that the local water supply is will not make us sick. Read the water analyses that your water company gives you, and you’ll see what I mean. While ignorance might seem to be bliss, understanding these water additives is important.
With water that has been distilled, I can swallow all my drugs and vitamins
A while back a friend stopped by to see me and we had a discussion about water quality. He is on the road quite a bit, and he commented that he travels with distilled and purified water. Why distilled, I questioned? He commented that it’s the only water he can be sure of. Besides, he can purchase distilled water in any market.
That was interesting. I had only used distilled water for baby wipes that had dried out. Since his visit, my Crohns has gotten somewhat worse. Because of intestinal problems, I now have to get down quite a few more pills. In addition to my Crohn’s drugs, I also must get down vitamins, including multivitamins and iron along with a calcium pyruvate powder supplement because of dietary deficiencies.
Due to my Crohn’s, I am get sick from smells that make it so that I can’t keep my medicine down. Therefore, it is best for me to drink only distilled water, because I must always swallow all my drugs, vitamins and supplements each day.
